Second with these tyres; excellent.

Great in the dry & wet & hope great if we get snow

Having driven in dry and wet roads they have been excellent. Coming from my summer tyres Michelin pilot sport 5 I was surprised how good these all seasons are. I’ve driven on some slightly ice roads and they have performed well but not had any snow slush or thick ice yet.

They are the best overall tyre for Scottish weather conditions, especially in winter

Certainly Had plenty of rain over the last few weeks to test the tyres. No problems thus far. Yet to have any snowfall but up to yet they are holding up well.

The reason these tyres get a moderate rating is the fact that the tyre walls are exceptionally soft and offer no protection against damage to my cupra wheels. I am a mature experienced driver who takes care when parking but I’ve caught my wheels twice since purchasing even so. Three years on the Bridgestones without a scratch so this is definitely the design of these particular cross climate 3 sport compared to the Bridgestones. My previous CEO’s climates were on a Kia but the side walls were stiffer. I’m sorry I fitted these tyres even though the ride and handling are very good.

My car now holds the road in a way I didn’t know it could and feels much safer to drive in wet conditions which is important in a rear wheel drive
